Well Balanced Dogs offers training and educational services. We train dogs to be balanced pack members. We take many dogs with behavioral issues and work with them, so they can go back into their home and be a healthy family member. Education on the part of the owner is essential in this process!
Well Balanced Dogs also works as a Behavioral Therapist for Autistic and Special needs children. Our dogs have been amazing in that what helps them to become a better dog, also has proven to increase language and social skills with the children to which they are exposed. In conjunction with Creature Keeper Farm & Sanctuary, some of our rescue dogs will go on to be certified through the Delta Society to be Therapy Dogs.
Our services include, but are not limited to:
- Consultations and training for behavioral issues
- Socialization in a controlled setting with our pack
- Educational programs for schools, camps, etc.
- Training on how to become a good dog owner and pack leader
- Behavioral dog therapy for special needs children
- Adoption for available dogs
Training is provided in home, or the dog can come to our facility and be evaluated and trained with the Well Balanced Dogs pack. Owners must be a part of the learning process!
